Carter Leist '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carter Leist, I'm a freshman wrestler in East Tennessee, and I've wrestled for close to three years now. I'm going to college and want to major in engineering, but wrestling is a main goal at this point. I want to be a varsity wrestler for a D1 or D2 college, and I'm willing to do anything to get there. I still have four years left of High School, and when I graduate, I will have been wrestling for seven years. I've been to camps with Wade Scalles and Brent Metcalf, and my pastor was an Olympic trial finalist in the 70's. I'm a varsity wrestler For Seymour Eagles High School wrestling team at the 126lb weight class, and am currently working on being a multiple time state champion.
