Brody Banks '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brody Banks and I started competitive wrestling my freshman year of high school. My goal in my wrestling career is to get into an academically challenging university where I can both compete on their wrestling team, and dive into challenging classes.  I have been a life long martial artist and competitor since the age of 5.  I am currently a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and train Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts with the legend Yves Edwards.  I have won several grappling championships since I was a young kid and I am no stranger to the grind of tough training and competition.  I made the state tournament this sophomore year and am working to to win it all my junior and senior years. 

Most importantly, my goal is to excell off the mat and in the classroom.  Although my dream is to be a wrestling National Champion and MMA champion, fighting and competing will not last forever.  I work just as hard in the classroom and off the mat honing my skills to become a better person and student.
