I was fortunate enough my parents enrolled me into a youth wrestling program in Michigan at 4 years old. After my arm was raised as the winner in the very first tournament, I knew wrestling was going to be my sport.
Winning a hard-wrestled match, is one of the best feelings to have. The emotion, adrenaline and the feeling of being victorious- there is nothing like it! However, losing a match creates an educational experience. Learning from my mistakes as a wrestler, and in my personal life, has made me a better person on and off the mat. As I continue to grow physically and mentally, I focus on being a positive influence to my friends and teammates. I owe my success to my parents, my coaches and teachers in Michigan, and in Texas where I reside now. My goal is to not only find a college/university that can prepare me for my next step in life, but to also find a school that will take me to the next level in wrestling.
