My wrestling journey has been one of adaptation and perseverance. Transitioning from traditional Nubian wrestling in Sudan to the American style at Herndon High during my senior year has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the value of embracing diverse perspectives. While I only joined the American wrestling circuit in my 12th grade, my foundational years in Sudan, practicing Nubian wrestling for five consecutive years (2018-2023), have instilled in me discipline, technique, and a deep respect for the sport's traditions. This rich background equips me with a unique style and approach that sets me apart. Most recruits bring with them years of experience in American wrestling. What I offer is a fresh perspective, blending the ancient traditions of Nubian wrestling with the modern techniques of the American style. This fusion not only enriches my personal skill set but can also introduce innovative strategies and techniques to the team. Furthermore, my journey from Sudan to America has instilled in me a global viewpoint, adaptability, and an appreciation for diverse cultures and traditions.
