My name is Xaiden John Wynn. I was born in Petoskey, MI on July 19, 2006. I moved to Roanoke, VA when I was 2 and started wrestling when I was 4. My first ever club was Cave Spring Wrestling Club which later turned into Roanoke Area Wrestling. In the sport I grew to love it.
RAW had a great program going until quarantine hit. I watched my future high school program go to the dumps. I moved James River High School and never looked back.
After all of this, I started training at Roanoke College’s club. Noke RTC has brought me plenty of great partners and training opportunities. I started wrestling freestyle and greco and found a love for it. Any opportunity with these styles I will always take.
I qualified for Team VA for Fargo twice, once at Cadet 88 and another time at Cadet 106. Competing in Fargo brought me a lot of challenges. The training camps gave me a lot of opportunities to grow as a person. After every Team VA camp I always notice a great change in my skill level.
For my high school wrestling, I have an official 33-9 record and a 39-10 that isn’t VHSL verified. I pinned my way through the regional tournament and qualified for states. I finished the season last year at 4th place in the state after losing to a kid I beat previously in the bracket. I am looking forward to lead this season as a team captain and spreading my love to the sport to my teammates.
Currently I am holding a 3.95 GPA and and on the honor roll. I have college credits from an aerospace class at my county’s trade school. I want to be a pilot in the US Air Force after college. I am interested in a business degree for my college education.
