Sir,
Thank you for taking the time to locate and view my profile, I will keep my bio information short in hopes that you and I could talk more either via email or phone call.
I'm the oldest of 5 kids from a rural community in Washington State. My family and I enjoy fishing and hunting whenever we get the chance. In the summers I go to my Grandfathers orchard and help with apple and pear harvest.
I have been a two sport varsity athlete in wrestling and tennis. In those four years I have letter each year while also maintaining a 3.8 or higher GPA. I have also been on honor roll since I was a freshman and this year received an award for academic honors. I also have been in running start the last 2 years while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my college level courses.
My goal each year since I was freshman was to go to the State wrestling tournament and this year I achieved my goal. Each year I fell short either in the District tournament or Regional tournament. At our District tournament this year I finished 2nd and I finished 2nd again at our Regional tournament going to the State tournament. I did not do as well as I wanted in the State tournament however, I did receive 2nd team honors and finished ranked 11th in the State. I competed with the best in the state and finished my senior year with a 40-12 record.
I set goals and I strive to achieve those goals. I set a goal when I was a freshman to wrestle beyond high school and graduate from college with my business degree.
I have been raised that my family and team make me better as we refine each other either in life or on the mat. I have also been raised to know that I'm responsible for my successes and failures. Enjoy the moment of success but not to bask in it and to have the mind of a goldfish when I fail learn from it and forget about it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
Luke Bayne
