Shay'den Howell '22 Recruiting Profile

My wrestling journey began my sophomore year after a coach saw me walking to football practice everyday no matter the weather. He stopped me one day and  told me that the dedication he saw me display everyday let him know I would make a great wrestler so he invited me to an open gym session. After the session, I knew I wanted to take wrestling more serious and learn as much as possible. I believe that I would be an asset to any program as I am a very disciplined, I work hard,  am flexible and adaptable. Because I am still new to the wrestling world, my goal this year is to make it to state.  Academically, I will work towards attaining another 4.0 and keeping my cumulative gpa above the current 3.6.
