Originally from Upstate New York, I grew up snowboarding and spending time outdoors, but it wasn’t until I moved to Sarasota, Florida, that I discovered rowing. That move was a turning point—I found a new passion in the sport and quickly dedicated myself to it. I went on to row Division II at Nova Southeastern University, where I rowed for three years, and it became one of the most valuable experiences of my life. The intense training, early mornings, and competitive environment taught me discipline, resilience, and how to work as part of a team toward a common goal. Rowing pushed me to grow not only as an athlete, but also as a person—helping me develop leadership skills, mental toughness, and time management abilities that I carry with me today.
After those three formative years, I transferred to the University of Florida to pursue new academic and personal opportunities. That transition further strengthened my adaptability and drive for continuous growth. I’m especially grateful for NCSA, which played a critical role in my recruiting process. Their platform helped me connect with coaches and programs that aligned with my goals, ultimately opening doors I may not have accessed otherwise. Now, I’m excited to come full circle and work for NCSA, where I can help guide other student-athletes through the recruiting process.
