The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) serves as the governing body of all Junior College athletics programs in the United States. The NJCAA is the second largest collegiate athletics association in the United States, serving 60,000 student athletes across 500 institutions.
NJCAA lacrosse programs are located primarily in New York, New Jersey and Maryland. These programs can serve as a stepping stone for players who are looking for a higher scholarship offer or who didn’t meet the academic requirements to gain acceptance to the NCAA. Attending a NJCAA program allows students the chance to focus on strengthening their academic record in order to transfer to a 4-year institution at an NCAA institution. College coaches even look more favorably on students who attend Junior Colleges, as it demonstrates dedication to both your athletics and academics.

How many NJCAA schools are there for men’s lacrosse?
NJCAA lacrosse includes 21 men’s programs, primarily located in the Northeastern United States. These programs are ranked and compete within one of the NJCAA lacrosse’s four Regions.
