BC Pride! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7YJSYmsm08&feature=youtu.be Jeff Lopeteguy Butte Community College Assistant Football Coach-Recruiting Coordinator 2008 and 2013 State and National Champions Updated 2020: Why Butte College? 34 Bowl Games -14 in a row: 21 Conference Championships: 2019 Gridiron Classic Bowl Champions , 2 State Championships, 2 National Championships, an NFL MVP, a Super Bowl MVP, an NFL Hall of Fame member. Two more former Butte College players signed professional contracts in 2018 and one more in the 2019 increasing the total former Butte players to 45 who are current or former Professional Football Players. The cost of living is low compared to most places in California. There are dorms for Butte College students at The Social in Chico. If students are full Financial Aid qualifiers they are able to use their Pell Grant to pay for most of the tuition and living expenses. Butte College provides bus service so having a vehicle is not necessary. We have a safe, clean and supportive community. Butte College has a state of the art academic facility with all of the support and learning resources to help our student athletes achieve their academic goals.
