What the Coaches are Saying...
Sep 11, 2018

“Welcome to a new era in Culver-Stockton College football! I hope this finds you well! I would like to personally invite you our Wildcat Football Camp on Sunday, July 16th, 2017. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your skills, energy and passion for the greatest game in the world in front of our staff members with the information being shared with different schools, both NCAA and NAIA, from D1 FBS to D3. Last year, schools like North Carolina State, Northern Illinois, Tennessee, Northwestern, Missouri, Houston and Rutgers just to name a few that received our camp results. With over 200 participants in our 2016 camp and EVERY Senior that attended received an offer to play college football somewhere in the country, we are excited to see the competition in this year’s camp! Sign up with the link below or use the steps below: Visit our website at · Sports o Football § More Links · Football Camp Here is the link to sign up: On December 17th of 2016, now former University of St. Francis (IL) Defensive Coordinator Tom Sallay was named Head Football Coach at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri on the Mississippi River. Coach Sallay’s resume includes two conference championships in a five year span, the 2015 Mid States Football Association Midwest Conference Assistant Coach of the Year award and setting multiple school records along with producing a defensive All American for seven of the last eight years, including the last six straight. Coach Sallay has put together a staff that rivals any with accomplishments on and off the field. Adam Siwicki comes over as Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach after two years as the Defensive Line Coach at Northern Illinois University. Ron Wooten, one of the brightest offensive minds, will be the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach. Super Bowl Champion with the Baltimore Ravens, Jack Cornell is the new Offensive Line Coach while former NAIA All American James Bowman will be our Defensive Line Coach. We are committed to recruiting the best student athletes in the country for the Class of 2018. We are looking to build the foundation, brick by brick, of our future success. We will make history. You will leave a legacy. Your accomplishments will be something never seen before. The Class of 2017 will #RestoreTheRoar (ranked as the top class in our conference, Heart of American Athletic Conference, and one of the top in the country) while the Class of 2018 will make sure everyone can #HearTheRoar. Our approach is unique at the Culver-Stockton. This coaching staff isn’t worried about you for the next four or five years, but rather the next 40 years. Our goal is simple – help you achieve all of your goals in life. With a top 30 education in the Midwest according to U.S. News and World Report, 46 majors, we already know that Culver-Stockton will provide you every opportunity to become a difference maker; a game changer in the world for years to come. Why Culver-Stockton? • Top 30 education in Midwest: U.S. News and World Report have continued to rank Culver-Stockton as a top 50 education in the Midwest since 2009 and has continued to rise in the rankings every year since. Why? Simple - most dedicated faculty and an administration that understand you are a student first and an athlete second - hence the term "student-athlete." • Your future: At the end of the day, this isn't a 4/5-year decision for you. It's a 40-year decision. Our job as an administration, faculty and coaching staff is to make sure you achieve ALL of your goals for life; not just football. Whether you play in the NFL, CFL, AFL or oversees once your college career is over is completely inconsequential to your overall growth as a person - a future father, husband, employee. • Incredible Campus: 40 million dollars in the last five years of upgrades - new dorms, facilities, great stadium, 146 acres right on the Mississippi River. You'll be hard pressed to find a better campus in the NAIA. • History & Legacy: You have an opportunity to do something and be a part of something that NO ONE has ever done at Culver-Stockton. The plan and process is set. We are going to win a lot of football games, challenge and win conference championships then compete for the ultimate goal - the NAIA National Championship. It's important to understand that the legacy you leave here will be never forgotten. You will be a part of the first CSC Wildcat football team to achieve these goals. • Scholarships: College is expensive and no one likes that so taking advantage of a university that is going to invest in you as a person, a student and an athlete is extremely important all while taking some of that college debt away from you is the exact situation you want to be in. We offer academic and athletic scholarships to offset the cost of tuition today. If interested, please fill out the recruiting questionnaire via the link below or follow the steps below: Visit our website at § Sports o Football § Recruiting Link: Culver-Stockton College, a top Midwest education and championship football family playing in the NAIA (same talent level as NCAA DII, just not the strict recruiting rules). #RestoreTheRoar Looking forward to hearing from you! GO WILDCATS!”
