Personal Statement
I really hope to graduate college with a degree is business but I would enjoy to play baseball while doing so. Any college that is willing to take a chance on me, I am glad to play for. I have worked in manual labor since I was nine. Part of that time I was on the farm pulling weeds, and the rest has been working with my dad polishing concrete. When I was thirteen, I had injury sliding back into first base. I ended up dislocating my shoulder, but we just kind of shook it off as something that would go away after it was fixed. Up until I was 16 I just dealt with the issues my shoulder was giving me. In early 2018 we decided to make the decision and have surgery on it where they reattached my labrum and cleaned up my shoulder socket. Thankfully, all is well now and I’m slowly trying to build my arm velocity back up. My mom and dad have also pushed me to focus on academics and get good grades in order to make up for what I cannot do in baseball right now. They have also pushed me to better myself in the field and at the plate. I hope that you are able to see me as the guy you might want to see in your locker room some day.
Thanks, Dylan
