Colby Oleary '25 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Senior attending Shiloh Christian High School in Springdale, Arkansas. My dream is to play baseball in college while pursuing my degree before going into the missionary field. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play at an athletically competitive Christian school where I can help the program succeed and win games. Some qualities that make me a good candidate for teams are:  I have good leadership qualities and am not afraid to step into a leadership role, I am a great teammate and always wanting what is best for the team and my teammates, and I am a hard worker that is willing to put in the extra work outside of practices and games. Some Character Traits that make me stand out from other recruits is that I am a Godly Leader, and I put the team over myself. I take school seriously, as I have maintained a 4.19 GPA, while simultaneously taking several AP and College-level classes including College Algebra, College Physical, College Composition, College Chemistry/Lab, College American Government, College Survey of Calculus, College World Literature I, and Advanced Placement World History. I have ensured I maintained these grades while playing other sports (Cross Country, Track and Basketball) and by being an active member of my school's Chick-Fil-A Leaders Academy and Service And Leadership Team (S.A.L.T). These qualities help me because I can bring more than just an athletic side to a school program.
