Jonah Spach '16 Recruiting Profile

     I'm Jonah Spach, a high school baseball player dreaming of college baseball in my near future.  Dreaming of putting on that uniform and stepping over the white line and representing something bigger than myself.  To step onto the battle fields with my other teammates, to grind, and journey through this great game. This is my dream, to attend a college that allows me to achieve a high level of education and play and compete in the beautiful game of baseball. 

     Growing up I have developed a great respect for this national pastime and have tried my best to be a student of the game.  Playing for several travel teams since age 7, I have increased my baseball IQ, expanded my skills and gained valuable life lessons both on and off the diamond. I've represented travel teams from Simi Valley, to Palm Springs, to the Inland Empire and finally currently in the Santa Barbara coast lands.  Those valuable years provided me with the experience needed to play varsity during my freshmen year of high school.  Now as I approach my senior year, and a 4th season as a varsity starter, I continue to work and train harder than ever to elevate my game and prepare to take the next step - college baseball.  I bring intensity to every practice and certainly every game.  I strive for perfection and won't be satisfied until I reach my goals.  Thanks in advance for reading my personal statement.
