I am Dylan Hall, I am entering my Senior year of high school and though I plan to enjoy my last year as a Clovis High Cougar, I am also excited to start thinking about my life after high school. This year I will focus on my academic journey which has included honors classes, foreign language, and advanced math. I plan on working hard to maintain honor roll and graduate with a solid foundation for my future.
I am doing well in my academics and am keeping my options open as far as future fields of study in college. I want to explore a little more before I make any decisions! Outside of school I stay busy with my family and enjoy other sports in leisure like football and basketball and recently ping pong!
Baseball has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have always been committed to improving myself as a student athlete on and off the field. I worked hard to earn my position as starting short stop for my Freshman and JV teams, playing with effective speed and accurate throwing. I spent my junior year working hard to prepare for my senior year where I will continue my journey as a pitcher and shortstop. My coaches throughout the years have complimented my footwork when fielding and my accuracy and athleticism on defense in general. I have put in the work to improve my hitting and finished my JV season batting at .400 with 3 home runs and 28 RBIs. I was honored to be named the MVP of my team that season. I now look forward to my senior year as I just finished my last summer season as a Cougar batting .300, playing shortstop and being an effective closing pitcher.
I am a motivated competitor. I leave it all on the field every time I play and I hope convey that same spirit on any future team. Supporting my team and showing good character on and off the field is something I value and believe in. I hope to play this game for as long as I can, and I know that possibility is entirely dependent on the effort I put in. Thank you for your consideration.
