Hello my name is Alex Sanchez, as far as I can remember Baseball is my life's passion. First time I picked up a bat, my father has instilled in me the principles of the game, work hard on/off the field and in life, have discipline and respect the game. His career in the military has instilled in me great personal discipline, versatility, and above all to preserve what is most important family.
Many of my fathers duty stations have afforded me great opportunities and wonderful memories. I have been fortunate to play in California, Virginia and as far places in Europe such as Spain (Seville, Madrid, Barcelona and Canary Islands) and lastly Ireland (Peter O'Malley Invitational). Due to my travels, I was afforded the opportunity as a 8th grader to attend a week long camp sanctioned by the Atlanta Braves, headed by International Scout Nester Perez Sr. The competition was fierce and it inspired me to want to compete at a much higher level. I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically and afford me the ability to play at the highest level possible and ultimately realize my dream to make the MLB.
I have always aspired to "be the best or amongst the best" in academics and in baseball. I will never quit, I will always give 100% on and off the field, I am committed till the end.
