Personal Statement

Playing baseball has always been more than just about the game. It has helped shape me as an individual; being a part of a team with a goal to do better and be better.  My aspirations to become an engineer or physical theraphist while playing collegiate baseball is something that I have always dreamed of.  My teammates, coaches and teachers will say that I am a great team player, supporter and have integrity on and off the field and what makes me different is that I know how to balance everything; athletics, extra curricular, sports, staying healthy, family and friends, while focusing on staying true to myself and humble. I am alway the first on the field, and the last off - always striving to make my game better. I also use that time to help my teammates be better and continue to learn from them and my coaches as well as my individual and team mistakes so that we can become stronger moving forward. I am a lifelong learner - on a and off the field - and I would love to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level, learning, growing and contributing as a part of your team and academic programs.

Training

  • Hitting lessons, pitching lesson and fielding lessons
  • 5 years
  • My hitting coach is Tim Raposa who founded the Tri County Tritons. I have been playing travel ball with the Tritons since I was 13. He has been my batting coach for over 5 years.
  • Work out at the gym
  • 2 years
  • I work out daily at the local gym with other athletes at my school. I also took sports conditioning my junior year of high school.
  • Pitching Lessons
  • 1 year
  • I started training with Justin Dowdy at Stiches in Modesto in June 2017. He is a pitching coach and has me on a daily schedule for pitching so I can increase strength, power, velocity and consistency. I train daily on the rowing machine, stationary bike, jbands and throw a few days a week. We work each day on building muscle, endurance and each aspect that will make me a better pitcher. I am looking forward to the outcome with this intense training and where it gets me by the end of the year. My goal is to get recruited to play at the college level.

Additional Sports

  • Cross Country
  • 2 years
  • Varsity Team
  • Ran varsity my first year running cross country. I run the 5k in 18.98.
  • Football
  • 6 years
  • Freshman Team
  • Played football from 3rd grade to freshman year. Always loved to run so I switched to cross country my sophomore year. This change helped me train for baseball.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
