Jaycob Olvera '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaycob Olvera, I am from Riverside, California. I graduated from Poly High School in June 2019 and attended TCS Baseball Post Graduate Program in McKinney Texas. I am 18 years old, 5'10" and 180 lbs. I've been playing baseball since the age of  4 and I can very much say that it is a passion of mine. I remember waiting for my dad to get home from work so we could go out and play catch, that would go on for hours and my dad had to bring out his big lights so that I would continue playing ball until it was time for bed. The passion for the game still lives in me with the same intensity.  I am very committed and motivated and am always trying to improve and learn. I have always been a team player, my team becomes my family and I am always wiling to help those around me. During my time at Poly, I was the starting third baseman on my varsity team and was also a right hand pitcher. I also was awarded second team All League.  During my time in TCS, my concentration was as a pitcher.  I did great during the time I was there, unfortunately it was cut short due to the virus.  I am looking for a school where I can continue to grow both as an athlete and a student.
