Patrick Tappin '18 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to play Division 1 college baseball. I love baseball and am willing to work harder and harder every day so that i may improve on my skill set so that I may achieve my goals. All year long I have been working on and off the field especially in the offseason and am currently lifting 5-6 days a week. Over the past 2 years I have gained much experience from playing over 160 games for travel ball, Babe Ruth, and All-Stars teams. I'm coachable, hardworking, competitive, and know many aspects of the game for my own positions and other positions. My skill set includes the makings of a leadoff hitter, hitting for contact, getting on-base, and most of all, speed on the base paths and have never been caught stealing in the past 160 games. My best position is center field but can play middle infield as well. Most of all, I want to play college baseball to help a team win wherever I go. I can improve your team by leading by example.

I'm only a freshman and have 4 full seasons of baseball ahead of me. I may play varsity baseball staring this season and start with a new coach who wants to rebuild the baseball program at Windsor. In school, I currently have a 4.3 GPA in an honors core. 2 of my 3 main electives are Spanish 2 and Algebra 2.
