The most important time of my career was the summer before my sophomore year. After consistently working hard every day of my freshman year, my club team rewarded me by putting me on the 16u team for that summer. Although I had just reached a new level I had never played at before, my hunger to be better didn’t stop and I continued to grind out at bats and improve. My dedication earned me a starting spot in the heart of the lineup for the next season. This attitude will serve me well in college, I will make the most of every opportunity and continue to push myself in every situation I am put in.
I also enjoy pushing myself in the classroom because I know that in order for me to reach my full potential, I have to struggle sometimes. To do this, I actively seek out tough classes and do things that make me uncomfortable.
I am looking for a program that will allow me to challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the baseball field. I’ve always dreamed of playing baseball at the college level. I believe my commitment and work ethic will be an asset to your college baseball program.
