Personal Statement
Baseball has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. My relentlessly driven mindset stems from my desire to compete. Baseball is such an important part of my life that I can't imagine life without it. My college years will be a time of personal development for me. On the field, I intend to be a dynamic player who contributes to the team's success. Off the field, I intend to work hard in school and embrace all aspects of my education. I'm driven to make a lasting impression on the school where I study. Throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the batting line-up and the position of third base (or wherever the team wants me) as I develop both physically and mentally. I'm a team player who prefers to lead by example, but I'm not afraid to speak up when the situation calls for it. I'm a self-assured person who believes in my own abilities and character. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect both on and off the field, understanding that how I carry myself reflects on my team, coaches, and school.
