My collegiate hopes are to attend a university that can provide a bona fide academic environment while pursuing my passion for baseball. As the son of a Korean immigrant who came to U.S. with nothing, I've been raised to appreciate much. Accordingly, I take very little for granted and give nothing but the absolute best of myself both on and off the field. I consider myself a fierce competitor and well understand the importance of being a "student" in academia as well as baseball. I'm looking for a collegiate environment that can provide the best of both worlds with the hopes of one day attending law school.
I've learned that leadership can at times be delegated without choice and it's one's character that can determine whether a leader gets followed? Admittedly, this past year's baseball experience has been a large transition for me and am learning each and every day how leadership becomes contagious. I'm excited at what the next level brings and thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
