I started my athletic career as a select soccer player with the Dallas Texans until a local baseball team needed players. My parents encouraged me to give it a try, and I immediately fell in love with the game. Baseball has shaped me into a competitor who values hard work, discipline, and resilience. Between the COVID shutdowns, breaking my hand, and almost missing out my entire Junior year of baseball from an injury, I’ve faced challenges that could have set me back instead, they strengthened my focus. I see every setback as fuel to push harder, and I know my best baseball is still ahead. That is why I am now at IMG Academy, working every day to become the best player I can be.
Academically, I set high standards for myself and have big goals for both high school and college. On the field, I haven’t come close to my ceiling as a pitcher, especially having thrown far fewer innings than many of my peers. That motivates me every day to keep improving. More importantly, I’m a team-first player who leads by example, works hard, and does whatever it takes to help the team succeed.
