May PG ShowcaseI am the epitome of the great American melting pot. I am Muscogee Creek Native American, Irish, & Filipino on my father’s side. I'm Jewish, French and Belgian on my Chicago born & raised mother
My family has shaped and molded me into the person I am… A Christian with a good moral compass, a Family above self and personal interests, and a Citizen who contributes more than I take.
I have two very diverse parents who came from opposite worlds who have taught and shaped me into the well-rounded individual that I am today... I'm as comfortable on the subway in New York as I am working on our family ranch in Oklahoma, to fishing the bayou at home in Louisiana. I bloom where I'm planted.
My Dad’s service in the US Marine Corps as an Officer has lended a tremendous amount to my ethos… work hard, don’t blame others and own your mistakes.
My Mother, a brilliant entrepreneur and former marketing executive, taught me compassion for others, benevolence and the importance of being a good steward of the resources and gifts we’re blessed with.
I became interested in baseball at the age of 4 in my local rec league. Through t-ball and coach pitch, I learned to love the game and watched not hours, but days worth of YouTube videos to study the game and watch the premier athletes of today play at the highest levels. I knew in my heart of hearts that I too would play at that level.
Baseball has taught me many of life’s most important lessons. None of which are lost on me, even at an early age. In fact, the first two years of playing competitive baseball, our team only won three games. I never fathomed the thought of quitting the team or giving up the sport. It drove me to play harder and forced me to become a better team mate and leader so that we could compete.
My goals for college are to contribute to the success of my team and compete in Omaha for a National Championship, graduate with honors, and either continue to play at the professional level or put my years of baseball knowledge to use in law school and become a sports attorney.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me
