Preston Hayes '20 Recruiting Profile

What I will bring to any program is a very high level of consistency and variety.  I have a three pitch mix that keeps them guessing.  My most telling stat is that in almost 50 innings during the high school season as a crafty pitcher, I allowed only 8 walks.  One of my best qualities is how well I get along with new people. I feel that ,wherever I go,   I will have a positive and supportive impact on my teammates both on and off the field.   As a pitcher only, I've learned that my role doesn't stop once I'm off the mound, but continues in the dugout!  I'm always the first one out with a fist bump and keeping the team motivated! 

I transferred to IMG Academy in January 2019 where I am finishing out my senior year and continuing for a post grad year.  During that time, I will be taking college courses and working on my baseball skills.
