Turner Dittrich '26 Recruiting Profile

Class of 2026, I am a senior who will be attending IMG Academy in the fall. I love playing baseball and my goal is to pitch for a D1 college program. I am a conscientious student-athlete who believes in doing my best and am always looking for ways to improve. I believe I possess strong leadership skills. I have been captain or co-captain for several of the baseball and basketball teams I have played for rec, travel and high school leagues. I believe that is due to the fact that I get along well with others (coaches & players) and I am a hard-working, goal-oriented team player who tries to lead by example. I have been told by others that I am a coachable athlete and supportive teammate. 

Outside of sports, I am passionate about helping others and giving back to my community. I have actively volunteered at my former middle school as a boy's basketball coach and with the annual musical production. I have also worked with kids to improve baseball skills at high school camps and umpired rec baseball games in the summer.  I work part-time tutoring kids in math and participate in a variety of other activities at my church, in my community and with various charities.  I possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and enjoy helping others succeed. 

My academic interest is in Business/Finance, Economics, Logistics and Political Science. My mother was a D1 rower at the University of Wisconsin, my father played D1 baseball at Boston University and my cousin was a pitcher for the University of Minnesota and played professionally in the Phillies organization. I hope to follow in their footsteps and contribute to being part of a winning tradition and competitive collegiate baseball program.
