Kerry Carpenter '16 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play college baseball. My aspirations are to get my degree then play professional baseball. I want to go to a university that has strong academics and a strong baseball program. I would like to play early in my college career if possible. I always give 110%, I love to learn about the game of baseball, and I am always trying to get better. I love spending time with my team. I love hitting and learning about hitting. But I also enjoy playing the field, whether it be 3rd base or left field. I love taking ground balls and fly balls. When my coaches talk to me, I always listen because I know that whatever they tell me, it will definitely help me. My coaches include 3 ex-MLB players. I played varsity baseball as a freshman and sophomore against fierce competition in our district. I have a 4.7 weighted GPA from multiple Honors and AP classes. I enjoy the weight room and the classroom. I am looking to pursue a degree in finance, accounting, or economics.

I made the All-Tournament Team in a Perfect Game tournament over Labor Day in Fort Myers going 4-10 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, 2 RBIs, 3 runs scored, and a walk and performed even better later in the fall season.
