Personal Statement
Winning the district Championship and defensive MVP for North Broward Preparatory in 8th grade was the highlight of my middle school baseball career. This was the first time that the middle school’s baseball team has ever won the district championship, so it was awesome to raise the banner in the school that will remain there. These two achievements have been a part of the motivation for me to continue to develop my skills into being the best “PO” I can be. In high school, I continue to grow as a student-athlete and am fortunate to be surrounded with teammates and coaches who have recently won district and regional championships. I don’t take for granted being around a winning culture that encourages teamwork, commitment and leadership. This keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward to be capable of playing at the college level and perhaps beyond.
A couple years ago during a pitching lesson with one of my coaches, we found out that I have unique arm flexibility. In one of my videos you will see just how I can rotate my arms and I feel that this may be an advantage because my arm stays loose. Ultimately, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit athletically as well as academically. My grades are important as I work hard off the field to maintain and increase my 3.5 GPA. I am confident that I have the talent to compete for a college team, and have the character, work-ethic, and motivation to make an immediate impact in your bullpen.
