Ethan Golemo '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Golemo and I have loved the game of baseball since I was 2 years old!  I can remember waiting by the door until my dad came home and we would play for hours until bedtime.  I carried that love for the game into organized baseball at the park located directly across from my neighborhood in Grayson Georgia.  I was lucky enough to play with a core group of friends that shared my passion for the game so much that we won the 8U Georgia State Championship!  After that, not only did I love the game of baseball I also learned that I loved to compete just as much!  

After playing with that group of boys from tee ball at 4 years old to travel ball at 11 years old I was faced with adversity for the first time.  My family moved to Florida and I had to prove myself again being the new kid.  That summer we moved I learned a lot about myself from rejection, to work ethic, to beinga good teammate and overcoming adversity.  

Since that time, I have played for some great organizations, with some great teammates and played for some great coaches who have helped shape me into the ballplayer that I am today.  One that is coachable, fundamentally sound, works hard prove himself every day, doesn’t back down from competition and LOVES the game of baseball.

In addition, I am also a good student attending Bartram Trail High School in Saint Johns, FL.  I have a 3.6 GPA and I’m enrolled in the Honors Architectural Drafting program.  I plan on continuing my success both on and off the field to hopefully earn a chance to play baseball at the Collegiate level!
