Personal Statement

Hello Coach ,

My name is Tionne Witherspoon, a 2022 graduate from Lithonia High School. I am a 1st Basemen and Left handed pitcher. Beyond baseball my interest includes cooking and helping the less fortunate. The school I am looking to attend will offer me a chance to obtain my Business Management Degree as well as provide me the ability grow on the baseball field.

I have played on my varsity team since my 9th grade year carrying a 2.8 GPA which is on the rise.

My club team is Atl Metro RBI Tigers, I have been a part of this organization for 4 years. We play in Perfect Game and PBR tournaments yearly to get noticed. I hope you will take this journey with me as I grow in the sport I love and so I will be on your field.

9/03/19 6-foot-0 210lbs. Stands out amongst his fellow 2022’s. Big, strong kid. Played a solid first base all weekend. Stays down on the baseball and does a great job of keeping the ball in front of him. Can move really well for his size. Knocked down a lot of tough balls at 1st. He drove a 3B in the gap. He moved around the bases, and beat out a close play at 3rd. Has a strong swing, and keeps his bat through the zone. Has a lot of room for development. With his size he could be a homerun threat in the years to come.
