Personal Statement

I want to go to college for baseball, a physical education degree, and a great community of new people. I'm from Aurora, Illinois, I play SS, and a little OF. I can really play any position except for 1B and catcher. I've been a christian for almost all my life. I am good student in almost every class. I will be taking 2 honors classes next year. I hope to play at a slightly bigger school and most likely a Christian school.

02/17/2019 - College PREP - Lake Zurich, (Chicago), IL Declan is a SS prospect who will gradaute in 2021. In the field, Declan shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Playing through the ball more can help Declan improve defensively. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and leads well with his lower half. He takes aggressive hacks and produces solid line drives. Declan can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Declan is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
