Daniel New '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been blessed to grow up in a close family of 6. Something that is very important to the family and myself is in sports. I have been playing sports ever since I was born. My first word was “ball.” A little bit before I turned 1 I began rolling a ball back and forth with my mom all day. I fell in love with everything about sports and learned about my competitive drive. Today, I play basketball and football at Aurora Christian. I believe my strengths include shooting the 3, getting to the basket, and playing on ball defense. I live and breath basketball everyday. I am a leader and lead best by example. I am very coachable and like to make relationships with my coaches and players. I will do anything to lead my team to success and most importantly glorify God.
