I am a 5'11" 185 lb Senior from Auburn, IN and I attend Garrett High School in a neighboring city. I am a starter for the varsity team as a catcher and/or 3rd baseman, this year I have also come in numerous times as a closer and have a record of 5-2-2. During my sophomore and junior years I was one of three team captains, the other two were seniors. Currently I am 6th in my class of 137 and I am an "All A, High Honor Roll Student" with a 10.9 out of 12 GPA or a 3.9 out of 4 through my freshman, sophomore year, and the first semester of my junior year. I am a member of the student council, the vice-president of the junior class, a part of the Fellowship of Christian Althletes, and NHS. I have played club ball since I was 9 years for old for several teams in the Fort Wayne area. As a travel ball participant, I played in many Triple Crown and Pasttime tournaments throughtout the midwest area as well as playing in a tournament during the college world series as a 14 year old and at the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament as a 12 year old. This past summer as a 16 year old, I played for the Fort Wayne Cubs 16U and the 17U team. The 16U team traveled to tournaments at University of Norte Dame, University of Kentucky and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The 17U club played in tournaments in Cincinnati, Dayton, and the Jr. Championship by Premier Baseball in Joplin, MO. The last half of the year with the Cubs I played with the 17s instead of the 16s I started with. By the end of the year I became the main catcher for the 17s and took part in two Premier baseball tournaments, in Joplin, MO (17U) and Feyetteville, AR (16U). My goal is to continue to play with the Fort Wayne Cubs baseball club throughout my high school career. I have the desire to continue to further my knowledge in the class room and be in the top ten of my class throughout the rest of high school. I also am becomeing a leader amongst my peers and in my community. I continually work day in and day out to excel past the other prospects in my area. I started NCSA early so I could start the exposure process early. I am planning to create my own business that would be a baseball facility and teach baseball to the next generation of players. I am looking to attend a school that has a great eduactional reputation as well as a great baseball program. With this combination, I feel I would have the greatest possible college experience.
