Please let me introduce myself, my name is Wesley Coglianese and I currently reside in Riverview, FL with my parents. I have had a love for this game, I think from the moment I picked up a bat and hit one off the tee in little league. My intent was to play baseball throughout my collegiate career and graduate with a degree in History/Political Science. However, COVID19 Lockdowns played an instrumental part in destroying this plan.  My post-collegiate aspiration is to pursue a career as a Marine Corps Officer.

As the son of a Marine Corps Officer, this brings with it several unique blessings and challenges. Due to frequent moves, and overseas assignments I have not been afforded the same access to quality baseball programs, camps, developmental opportunities or exposure as players who attend high school in the states. The reason I bring this up is not to present a woe is me but more importantly to show the resilience and the dedication I have to the game of baseball. What and who I am today is entirely the product of my parents, the Marine Corps and my will, hard work and insatiable desire to be the best ballplayer I can be. I know that my raw talent and work ethic coupled with a well-organized collegiate program within class sessions and no lockdowns or multiple quarantines due to just exposure can only result in a positive outcome for the program and myself.

Additionally, my unique experiences as a Marine Corps child imbued me with outstanding leadership skills, the ability to adjust easily to changing environments and to deal with stressful situations in a competent manner, to be a leader and focus on the tasks at hand.  This resilience was definitely challenged from 2020 to the Spring of 2022.  

In addition to my NCSA account, I currently older footage on a YouTube channel where I have uploaded additional videos.  I am currently playing ball for the Florida Gulf Coast League Tigers and will be updating during the summer Collegiate season.
