Since our team of little league "battlers" took gold that year, I have aspired to play at collegiate level (and beyond) and haven't stopped working towards it. Playing baseball in college will no-doubt be life changing and I feel very fortunate having so much support from my family and friends.
I have innate leadership skills and demonstrate this using a sound sense of emotional and intellectual intelligence. A strong believer in teamwork, I get most satisfaction from encouraging my teammates - not only when celebrating wins, but also building ourselves back up following losses. My coachable attitude has never let me down and I strive to stand out as one of the hardest working players and recruits you'll come across.
Discipline, Dedication and Determination are the 3 D's I live by - not only on the diamond, but also in my life in general. Complimentary to baseball, I also run track (sprints), work on my strength and conditioning in the gym and take part in the volleyball excellence program at school.
In the classroom, I study hard towards obtaining a high GPA before I graduate. I have volunteered at local youth baseball camps and volunteer regularly at our home baseball club.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
