Michael Pizziol '14 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play baseball at the NCAA level while I'm getting my education degree. It would mean a lot to me if I did because all those long hours of practice and dedication on and off the field paid off. I aspire to become a 5-tool player who can play anywhere in the field and can contribute in every game and practice on a positive note. Baseball is my passion, which defines my personality and I would be very grateful if I was to play at the college level. I have been playing since I was 8 years old. I've also been playing tennis but since the start of high school, I've taken baseball as my number 1 sport. Though tennis isn't my major sport I have incorporated some of the things I have learned thus improving my lateral movement and quickened my agility. In the 8th grade, I was selected to play basbeall for my high school JV team. The next year I was MVP for my JV team. We won JV China Cup both years  and have been the starter at 3rd base for the last 2 years for my varsity team. My team won APAC in 2011 and 2013 as well as Varsity China Cup in 2012 and 2013 respectively since I have joined the Varisty team. In the batting lineup, I bat either 4th, 5th, or 6th.
