Clark Douglas '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Clark Douglas and I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I feel as I am a great candidate for colleges as I have a completely different background than the vast majority of players looking to play college ball. Growing up in the Middle East, I have not had the exposure as many others, but play a high level of baseball. I also play Junior Varsity Volleyball and Basketball and start on both teams showing I am a versatile athlete. I maintain a GPA of 3.5 in an extremely difficult international school using the IB program. I played Varsity Baseball  my Freshman year and won MVP last year showing I can compete at a high level through that as-well as playing summer ball in the United States. I have placed awards in Volleyball and Basketball as I have play those at a JV level the past two years. Lastly, I believe I am a great candidate as I have much more to offer than the level I am at now. I am working hard currently to get stronger, increase my velocity,  pop time, and my game in general. I will continue working hard and strive to be my best on and off the field to compete at a high level. I however have not had the practice and coaching that many people in the States do making me a unique player as I believe my growth over the next couple of years will exceed those of many.
