Julien Monks '20 Recruiting Profile

I am Covid Freshman/ Sophomore baseball player at Ventura college  in Ventura California. Before I trained at the French National Baseball Academy (or, Pôle France, in French).  The Pôle France trains the nation's 20 top high school players and, for comparison, could be said to have similarities to All-Amercan status in the USA.  I was born in Boston, MA but have dual citizenship USA/French, and have lived in France since I was 6 years old.

My short term goals are to have a good season at Ventura College as a third baseman. Get seen by coaches to eventually transfer to a D1 program at the end of the season. And obtain my associates degree in communication studies this year. Over the next few years I hope to be playing at a high level in a D1 school and also pursue my academics. I also work hard to become a key player in the french national team 23U during the next tournaments.  My long term is to play professionally and represent my country (France) in the olympics.
