Alexander “Alo” Lopez '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball is a game that I have loved since I was old enough to throw a baseball, swing a wiffle ball bat, and cheer my favorite team on in front of the television. I play the game with passion and heart. It’s in my blood!

As a young  ball player, who had a grandfather who was a catcher and played pro ball in Puerto Rico, a father that played collegiate ball, and uncles that have played baseball at high levels, it has been ingrained in me that the game is played hard, with passion, and desire. I have fun playing baseball-it brings me joy. Being a good teammate is also very important to me. I do all that I can to help my team win and I do my best to pick up my teammates anyway possible.

To me, it’s not just a game, it’s a way of life. I’m looking forward to being an asset and a spark plug at the next level. My goal is to play college ball and hopefully pro ball after my high school career is over.

Although I have room to grow, I am confident in my abilities and I am positive that I will help that program that gives me an opportunity!
