  • Diego Rivera is a 2019 C/1B with a 6-1 240 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Extra big and strong lower half. Right handed hitter, long and strong upper body swing, gets out to his front side and really extends through contact, pull to middle of the field contact, can drive a ball deep when he's timed and squared up. Has good hands receiving the ball and a quick release on his throws, will have to continue to work on his lower half flexibility and quickness to improve defensively behind the plate, also plays first base. Good student.
