Carson Shaver '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal at the collegiate level is to just be able to compete for a program and every day make strides to become a better player. I’m a hard worker who pushes myself every day, whether it’s in the weight room, at practice, or outside of baseball. What makes me a strong candidate is my work ethic and mindset. I take a lot of pride in doing the extra work and staying coachable. I know this game isn't always going to be easy, so I'm always looking for ways to improve my game, whether it's with my mental approach or just working on my craft. What separates me from other recruits is that I don’t just want to grow as a player. I also want to grow as a person off the field. I challenge myself in the classroom the same way I do on the field, and I want to be a dependable teammate who brings energy, focus, and consistency every day.
