Stetson Miller '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Stetson Miller. As a Central Heights High School student in the class of 2027, there are quite a few different things that have influenced me. For example, being a part of different clubs and activities in my school and my community. These have created many valuable attributes for me as a person, such as having responsibility for myself and my actions, being a team player, having respect and being a hard worker. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old and loved every day of it. It has taught me how to be resilient when things don't always work out perfectly or how I would like. I have also learned to accept failure and know that it isn't a bad thing, if you know how to reflect on it and adjust from it to fix potential chances in the future.

My academic goals for high school are to achieve a 4.0 GPA all four years. I'm also going to take classes throughout my high school that will help me get beginning knowledge of things in sports medicine. In college I hope to pursue a degree in sports medicine or kinesiology. And I'm still exploring possible options for a minor degree. I have had to overcome being new to public school and making friends in sports because I have only been in public school since eighth grade. I have also overcome breaking my dominant arm, which I suffered in 2019, at the age of 10. I had to relearn and regain strength in my muscles, tendons and ligaments. Which is most likely where my inspiration for sports medicine and wanting to help others with things like that came from. My unique characteristics are that I am smart, athletic and tough. As well, my coaches since I started playing baseball have said that I play hard no matter what and that I'm a coachable player.
