my goal is to become someone in life and show the people that I'm more than what I appear. When I was told I was going to play baseball at age 9 I wasn't too happy about it but I never quit because that's not the person I am, plus I had high blood sugar problems so I went with it because I feared the fact that I could develop diabetes at a early stage. I enjoy the sport and I think I've ended up falling in love with it due to the fact its fun and you get to hit ball and show what you got. I'm willing to play under any circumstances because even though baseball wasn't my first sport it will be my first pick. I know in academics I'm not really that good and I know that's something college teams look for because they want a good image on the team not only that but they want us to succeed. I am Mexican American with immigrant parents and I want what's best for my family and have my parents to stop worrying about paying the bills. I want to be there for me like they've been there for me from the beginning. I will risk it all just for baseball, I've been set back way too many times just by my race but I want to prove that my blood line is far more then just color is about what inspires me to continue, injury or not I will play to my full potential.
