Jaxon Lente '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaxon Lente I am originally from Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico. I grew up in Albuquerque playing soccer, hockey, and baseball. At age 10 I moved to Kuwait and began playing club baseball earning a spot on the Kuwait 14U National team. Playing with the Kuwait National team afforded me the opportunity to experience different nationalities and travel to play tournaments in Dubai, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Kentucky as well as train for 2 weeks in the Dominican Republic. Just prior to COVID I returned to Albuquerque and trained at Albuquerque Baseball Academy earning a spot on their 15U travel team. I have played every position on the field including pitching and catching for every team I’ve played for; Though, my favorite positions are middle infield and center field. Since moving to Kentucky in 2021 I have earned starting Varsity positions on my high school football, wrestling, and baseball teams. I also play travel baseball for the Louisville Wolves competing in tournaments in Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. I was named for the all-tournament 16U team at the Net Elite Marucci Wood Bat Classic in Tennessee. The 2023 Junior year I was named the KHSAA district 17 all district team. I am uncommitted in my senior year but I still hope and  dreams of playing baseball after high school.

My outside interests include team roping, SCUBA diving and travelling. I have a strong work ethic from working on family ranches with my grandfathers and bring that work ethic to everything I do.
