Henry Bowling '26 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a very young kid, I have loved and played baseball.  I began playing when I was 3 years old for our little league program in Whitley County, Kentucky.  From that very early age, I developed a love for the game of baseball.  Throughout the years, I have played every season.  I have been on a travel team since I was 8 years old, which only increased my love of baseball.  My dreams are to continue playing baseball throughout my college years and beyond.  I have been a Varsity starter on my high school team since I was a 7th grader.  My 8th grade year, I was the second leading batter on the Varsity team. During my Freshman year I batted .333, my sophomore year I batted .490 and finished my junior year batting .333.  I feel like I work hard to achieve my goals each year in every sport that I play.  There are some days that I have 2 practices for my different teams, and I make it a priority to attend them all on the days I can make it work.  Along with sports, I am also a very dedicated student in the classroom.  I work hard because I know academics are my foundation for attending a great college and will prepare me for my plans later in adulthood.  I feel that all these attributes along with my want and desire to be the best baseball player, student, and adult set me apart from others.
