Charles Hunt '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has always been such a big part of my life. I’ve been playing since t-ball. It’s hard to imagine a future without it but thanks to the encouragement of my family, I have gained an appreciation for academics too. I lean on baseball and all the sports I play for my leadership growth, team building and goal setting. I tell people constantly that when life overwhelms me, I have skills that go beyond the game to see me through. Where else can I learn to deal with failure and hard work but when playing the game?  This is what I want people to see when they see me. Have discipline in anything you do, follow a road map and get up and try again when you fall. That’s the life lessons baseball has taught me.
