Christopher Battaglia '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christopher Battaglia and I am a senior 5' 11" 185lbs OF/DH/RHH for the 5A Lafayette High Mighty Lion's Baseball team here in Lafayette, LA.

My current batting average is .382 and on base percentage is .520 and 24 RBIs this season.

I've been a varsity player since my sophomore year, have started every game my junior and senior year, and will have lettered all three years, this year included.

Also, I am told and have a great reputation as a great person, son, brother, friend and teammate. I am committed to being extremely healthy, have an elite strength and conditioning work out, and I hit and throw almost every day of the week and play summer ball.

In addition and most importantly, I have loved the game of baseball since being four years old; from playing rag-ball, to t-ball, to making our Little League All-stars teams from ages nine to 13. I also helped one of my travel teams to win a World Series in Florida! I've played travel ball since I was eight. I've played with the Louisiana Dodgers, Sting, Sheets baseball, Team Louisiana, Marucci (out of Baton Rouge), and the Crusaders. Three of these teams were coached by former MLB players.

I would love an opportunity to play baseball at the next level.
