Jacob Schwartz '26 Recruiting Profile

I believe that grit is the single most important quality to have as an athlete. Grit consists of resilience, perseverance, and strong resolve, and demonstrating grit has been a staple in my life. Even when the skill wasn't there, continuing to work hard and get better even in a game where failure is the norm is what has separated me from others in the past. In college, I will push myself with the goal of achieving excellence both in the classroom and on the field, and trust that having a gritty mindset will allow me to succeed in what I do.
