Megan Amaral '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi I’m Megan Amaral! I started playing when I was 11 years old and fell in love with the game. My love and passion for the sport has only grown more intensely throughout the years, especially now that I‘m in high school and get the chance to play in such competitive games. When I would go see the varsity girls play when I was in middle school I saw all of them as inspirations and idols. They represented strength and power which was huge to see for little me! Playing college volleyball means everything to me, it’s not just about the game itself, but also the incredible experiences and opportunities that come with it. Being part of a team, working together towards a common goal, and forming lifelong friendships are some of the things that make it so special. The thrill of competing in intense matches, the support from the crowd, and the chance to represent my school are all incredibly rewarding. It's a chance to grow as an athlete, learn valuable life lessons, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Volleyball has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork. I hope to get the opportunity to play  collegiately and will continue to work as hard as I can every time I step on the court.
