Jamie Faber '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3", 172 pound middle infielder / pitcher who hits left and throws right. I think third base is my likely position at the next level. I will graduate in May 2012. I am a third year starter on the Varsity Baseball team. For a small school Cohasset High School is very competitive.  We have won back to back Massachusetts State Championships the last two years. The highlights of my baseball career was when I hit the game winning RBIs with a bases loaded triple in the 2010 Championship game and was the winning pitcher, going the distance with a 2 hitter in the 2011 Championship Game. I have been fortunate to be recognized with the following honors; 2010 honorable mention all area team, 2011: In April  I was selected by ESPN RISE Magazine as one of the top 50 high school baseball players in Massachusetts, one of only 9 Juniors, in June i was selected as a South Shore League All-Star, a Patriot Ledger All Schoolastic Selection, Community Newspapers Superteam member and I was selected to play for the Southeast Team in the Baystate Games, a state wide all-star program.  I am a three sport Varsity Starter playing Football and Ice Hockey. I look forward to focussing on Baseball, improving my physical strength through a focused strength and conditioning program.  I have played AAU and Club baseball for for the past 6 years and American Legion Baseball the last 3 years.   I have a 3.48 grade point average and am taking all honors and AP classes. I am a member of the National Honor Society. I Look forward to being academically and athletically challenged in college.
